10th Meeting Journal Entry

My funny experience about negative peer pressure is when i am 13 yrs. old and my friends and I are playing at the rooftop of my friend's house and they're trying to jump off from the rooftop until the ground and they did it simultaenously all of them have jump except me and then my friends told me to jump because they know i can do it but im a little bit scared of it because its a long run..

i told my friends that i can't do it and then they said that if they can do it so do I, so i jump off the rooftop and guess what, I broke my left foot its so painful that i can't breathe for about 10 seconds... then i called a " manghihilot " to massage my left foot and fortunately my foot got healed up so fast and now i can jump off to that rooftop again and broke my right foot,, nahh just joking...

6th meeting journal entry

Humanity is sitting on a ticking time bomb. If the vast majority of the world's scientists are right, we have just ten years to avert a major catastrophe that could send our entire planet into a tail-spin of epic destruction involving extreme weather, floods, droughts, epidemics and killer heat waves beyond anything we have ever experienced.

If that sounds like a recipe for serious gloom and doom -- think again. From director Davis Guggenheim comes the Sundance Film Festival hit, AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH, which offers a passionate and inspirational look at one man's fervent crusade to halt global warming's deadly progress in its tracks by exposing the myths and misconceptions that surround it. That man is former Vice President Al Gore, who, in the wake of defeat in the 2000 election, re-set the course of his life to focus on a last-ditch, all-out effort to help save the planet from irrevocable change. In this eye-opening and poignant portrait of Gore and his "traveling global warming show," Gore also proves himself to be one of the most misunderstood characters in modern American public life. Here he is seen as never before in the media - funny, engaging, open and downright on fire about getting the surprisingly stirring truth about what he calls our "planetary emergency" out to ordinary citizens before it's too late.

9th Journal Entry

A responsible person should do the following

When you agree to do something, do it. If you let people down, they'll stop believing you. When you follow through on your commitments, people take you seriously.

Answer for your own actions. Don't make excuses or blame others for what you do. When you take responsibility for your actions you are saying "I am the one who's in charge of my life."

Take care of your own matters. Don't rely on adults to remind you when you're supposed to be somewhere or what you're supposed to bring. You take the responsibility.

Be trustworthy. If somebody trusts you to borrow or take care of something, take care of it. If somebody tells you something in confidence, keep it to yourself. It's important for people to know they can count on you.

Always use your head. Think things through and use good judgment. When you use your head you make better choices. That shows your parents they can trust you.

Don't put things off. When you have a job to do, do it. Doing things on time helps you take control of your life and shows that you can manage your own affairs.

“The Most Challenging Thing I have ever Accomplished”

The Most Challenging Thing I Have Ever Accomplished is When i Finished Or Training In our C.A.T because We've Been Trained for 1 year and we have been like suffered for almost a year because of those push ups, squats and lots of exercises within the whole year and fortunately when we're at the Hellday ( Graduation Day For The Incoming Officers ) we accomplished it and i almost cried that night because remembering those suffering got paid off..

4th Meeting journal entry

1.

By looking back at the list of my positive characteristics and qualities, i've realized that i only not have to say it but also do it in actual life because all of those characteristics is just easy to say but we can't do it that easy as we can say it...

2.

I believe the saying “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.” because that is one of my practices in my life, and i have a sense of gratitude to my friends and all other people who did something good to me.. Aside from that when i have given a wrong answer atleast they did not make me feel so wrong and to my professors they can make my answers not wrong or consolation to my answer, when i'm expressing my opinion during class or group discussion i would like to be respected on my opinion and so i would do the same for them, when i commit mistake they would understand....
